No news is…good news?

I’ve never been an avid listner of any station that flipped formats before, so I’m new to this whole thing, but it seems to me that in this day and age, there’s basically no way to keep anything like this a secret, so why won’t CBS just come out and tell us what the plan is, and treat  us like adults.  NBC announced that Jay Leno was stepping down a year before it happened, but CBS expects us to ignore all these rumors about what’s going on until one day, I go to turn on O&D and get a Sports Center update with the latest MLB scores, or EVEN WORSE, 8 hours a day of Nubinals news.

They’re obviously going to do what they want to do, and even though I’d gladly forge 1,000 signatures on any petition to keep WJFK as it is, all I really care about is where can I listen to the Junkies, O & D and TMOS.  So if they are going to can the shows, or drastically alter them, just come out and tell us, and maybe WJFK could enjoy a week of #1 PPMs when everyone in DC who cares about great radio will tune in for one last week .

I recorded a video response to my plans for the first time I hear a canned score update from Bristol or New York…enjoy.

  1. Jon Says:

I smell a Daniel Snyder conspiracy here, guess he got sick of everyone on the station bad mouthing him, especially the thrashing that he got from the O & D Show 4 weeks ago about the parking situation at Redskins Stadium, either way I smell a freakin’ RAT in the trap…gonna miss ALL of you and the great, AND ONLY GREAT RADIO, that all of you produced—ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST.

    FAREWELL & GOOD LUCK.
